it was amazing

Natalie Lloyd nails it once again with this delightful and deeply meaningful story full of magical realism. I can even roll with suspension of disbelief that a sloth (named Bon Jovi) and a llama and multiple birds live happily in a library without poop destroying the books. Magic stuff is going on!

As someone who lives with an "invisible" disability (appearing fine on the outside, so no one can tell what's going on inside), I love Olive's self-talk and acceptance of her own very visible disability and the challenges it brings to her experiences. Everybody has something that tries to interfere and stop them from getting the most out of life. What we do about it is what determines our happiness.

Yes, Olive: Our bodies may be limited, but we are not. Joy-kabooms for everyone!

Highly recommend!
